The Amarillo High School, Sandie Steppers is proud to be a dance team that honors their drill team heritage. The Sandie Steppers started as a precision drill team in 1959. The program has evolved to give participants a versatile dance experience. Steppers perform and compete in dance styles such as pom, jazz, hip hop, and kick. The primary goal of the Sandie Steppers is to prepare students for success beyond high school.
